The name "益美" (Aik Bee) derived from the chinese meaning of "good and beauty" which we strive to provide as a brand at the time, and the word "新" (Sin) is inspired by the trend of using "new" in brand names during the 1950s and 1960s.

Sin Aik Bee embarked on its journey with a deep commitment to mastering the art of coffee production. During this foundational decade, the company's founders and early team members dedicated themselves tirelessly to perfecting their coffee products. Their relentless pursuit of excellence laid a solid groundwork for Sin Aik Bee's future success in the coffee industry.
Sin Aik Bee stems from a family business founded by Oo Ah Hock, a Chinese immigrant from Fujian, since then Sin Aik Bee has evolved into a thriving family business in Malaysia. Currently, the company is under the leadership of Oo Kok Leong, who is supported by his father, Oo Thiam Chye, and his uncle, Oo Thiam Eng. Additionally, Oo Seok Yen, his sister, plays a crucial role in managing the Coffee Master Company, further strengthening the family’s commitment to the business.

Our Journey Together With Coffee
1955
Sin Aik Bee established
1970
The start of Sin Aik Bee’s coffee industry. We also expanded Sin Aik Bee’s operations, increasing production capacity to meet growing demand in the same decade.
1988
Extended our business reach, successfully operating across multiple states. This created our foothold in the Malaysian coffee market and also allowed us to manage regional consumer tastes across Malaysia.
1992
We identified new opportunities in the market and subsequently launched a variety of coffee products and diversified product line.
2000
Increase in the customer’s demand requires us to introduce retail packaging, making our products more accessible to consumers around the country.
2012
Invested in advanced coffee roasting machines and began selling freshly roasted beans.
2024
Scaled up operations and relocated our office to a new, larger factory.
